CBE is  located in Richmond, BC.

Cohen Buchan Edwards LLP (CBE) has been in the Richmond area for over 45 years and within the White Rock South Surrey area for 4 years. This position is currently working from the Richmond with flexibility to work from home.

CBE offers a great working environment with a collegial team of support staff and lawyers.

What is CBE looking for:

  • 8 years or more experience working on corporate and commercial files gained working with a British Columbia law firm, including:
    • proficiency with all steps of creating and maintaining B.C. and Federal incorporations, as well as dealing with dissolutions and restorations;
    • experience completing corporate reorganizations, including corporate alterations, share exchanges / transfers, and reporting on same;
    • experience with business acquisitions, including drafting of share and asset purchase agreements, and ancillary documents; conducting of due diligence; and assisting with closing of transactions;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage task workflow, while also working as part of a team, giving and taking direction as required;
  • Well organized, with an attention to detail
  • Must have an excellent work ethic
  • Experience using O365, (outlook, word, teams, one note), ESI 360, ALF and Adobe
